An Independent Upbringing
Fred is a native of San Mateo. From an early age he wasn’t just raised to push the outside of the envelope, but to soar well beyond it. He was taught to always look for different ways to do things. Fred’s father was a chef and the proprietor of several successful restaurants here on the Peninsula. His mother was an early childhood expert who expanded a daycare business into both a preschool and kindergarten. Fred attended the Nueva School, where he was encouraged to explore new routes for learning and to think independently. “Both Nueva and my parents taught me to have the courage to look for options to do things in my own way,” he says, “to really soar creatively.”
An Innovative Approach
Fred studied for and earned his pilot’s license while attending Hillsdale High. After graduation, the combination of an adventurous heart with a keen, insightful mind led him to study both aeronautics and finance in college, where he learned the intricacies of financial forecasting and analysis. With these skills and his innovative approach, Fred is one of the Peninsula’s leading real estate professionals.
